Hello!
My name is Cole Whetstone. I completed my undergraduate degree in Classics and Philosophy at Harvard University in 2018, and an MSt in Ancient Philosophy at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford in 2020, where I specialized in Aristotle’s Logic. Afterwards, I taught Ancient Greek for Jesus and Harris Manchester Colleges, Oxford, and co-founded Oxford Latinitas, a society of Oxford academics dedicated to reviving Latin and Greek in scholarly use. Currently, I am a Fellow at the Ancient Language Institute in New York, and am pursuing an MA in Aristotle's Bioethics at NYU.
I have over 10 years of college consulting experience, my most recent accomplishment being guiding a student over 4 years to an Early Acceptance at Harvard. Over the past year, I have overseen successful student applications to Harvard, Columbia, McGill, Northwestern, and others. I also give my students access to my successful essays (to Harvard, Oxford, Stanford, Duke, etc) to give them a sense of what to expect, something they have told me has been extremely helpful.
From choosing a topic to drafting and execution, I have tons of experience in helping students articulate their thoughts and feelings into clear and effective prose, in a way that shows their best sides to highly selective colleges, so that they can stand out from the sometimes tens of thousands of other applicants.

I'm thrilled to offer in-person sessions at the Harvard Club (on 44th and 6th Ave.) for students in the NYC area. I've been teaching and working on applications from there, and I think the atmosphere could help inspire students who are applying to aim high and study hard.
